Week 14
12/02/02 - 12/07/02
This week I'm in Titusville (on the Space Coast). I got here on the afternoon of the 4th - there was a space shot scheduled for that night. I anchored out in Indian River just off Titusville to watch the lift-off. It was a bit cloudy but I got to see the lift-off until it went through the clouds.
The weather has been balmy since I left New Smyrna Beach but Mosquito Lagoon and Indian River were quite choppy and wet. I have been in shorts and T-shirt every day though. There was a small-craft warning for most of the rest of the week and I had some repair work to do so I hung at anchor through the gale-force winds until it calmed down. I'm in Titusville Municipal Marina today and finished the repairs.
